If you're looking for current or upcoming websites available (or soon to be) for exploring, check out the network page.
Arranged in a roughly linear order below are websites that used to be. Many have evolved into present
incarnations—notably Deluge.ca and Renzokuken.org—while others have gained
new owners, and still others are resting in peace.

The Tower
(expand) |
My first foray into creating websites. The Tower, otherwise entitled "Lothsque Island" and "D'Tirith", primarily held my Gargoyles artwork and my first attempt at writing
the Lothsque Chronicles, an original story featuring my Gargoyles character, Night Shade. It was hosted on a variety of free web hosts, including Angelfire, Tripod and others.
Eventually I merged the Tower with another friend's art website, and together we created our first domain name.
Deluge.ca
(expand) |
Wanting to begin my career as an artist, I purchased my own domain, Deluge.ca. Deluge.ca's content was greatly expanded in comparison to the Tower, and included web cliques,
fansites and other content that wasn't art. At the time, the .ca name and the webhosting combined was demanding on the wallet, and eventually I had to let the domain go.
This is my greatest regret, as I loved Deluge.ca and now it's owned by some search engine company and therefore lost to me forever.

Endeixis.net
(expand) |
From Deluge.ca, I moved on to Endeixis.net. At this time, I'd just entered university and was soon overwhelmed with schoolwork. I found myself having no time to update
my website, and the Endeixis.net period became my most stale and uninvolved period in the www. Ironically, it was also my most popular period, if you count the amount
of spam I recieved in my guestbooks and inbox ;)

Renzokuken.org
(expand) |
Renzokuken.org was created, as everyone knows, after I feel deeply, horrendously, ridiculously in love with Squall! I'd also wanted to separate my art from my fandom,
and Renzokuken.org became a repository for my character shrines, fanlistings, and other fandom websites. A good friend of mine at the time became interested in the domain name,
and I let him have it, moving my fanstuff over to a new domain.
Aerospark.org
(expand) |
Aerospark.org was the mirror image of Renzokuken.org, purposefully. Aside from the domain name, everything remained the same.
Aerospark was inspired by the main attack of Final Fantasy X's summon aeon, Ixion; I also liked it because it matched nicely
with my nickname, Aery. Eventually the cost of having two domains, Endeixis.net and Aerospark.org, forced me to let one of them
go, and Aerospark was it. Most of my fansites were closed or moved to Endeixis.net.
Serein
(expand) |
My art gallery wasn't always named "Serein": the name emerged during the Deluge.ca period, when I followed a water theme throughout the titles of my personal websites.
The name stuck after Deluge.ca was lost, and the future, non-DeviantArt version of my art gallery will be called Serein as per tradition.

Affliction
(expand) |
Affliction, my premature (and, later, mature) character shrine to Paine of Final Fantasy X-2 thrust me into awareness of the harsh reality of the standards of the shrining
and online gaming communities. I wish I'd had the foresight to know how unacceptable premature shrines were considered to be. Eventually, because of the negative feelings
I had about the website, I closed it down. Looking back, I think the only mistake I made was calling the website a "shrine". Now that the controversy's had timed
to cool, I've made plans to re-open Affliction this year.
Inasnum
(expand) |
Inasnum had a humble beginning as a barebones, two-image, one-page shrine back in the early Tower period. Stumbling on far better Demona resources than my own, I was ashamed and got rid
of the website. Eventually my love for the character Demona and a steady week of rewatching old Gargoyles episodes rekindled by interest in creating a fansite. Inasnum
was reborn, 109470974 times better than before. As things went, my interest dwindled again, and I let the website go.

Ars-Chimera
(expand) |
Ars-chi, as I nicknamed it, was a brief delving into the nailart community. Merging nail art with gaming, I provided step-by-step tutorials on how to paint popular gaming
characters onto one's nails. Eventually I lost interest in the whole nailart business and the site was closed down.
¼Fragment
(expand) |
¼ Fragment was a web design tutorial website. I focused on the graphical aspect of webdesign, in particular the techniques I used in my web layouts, rather than the HTML.
I'd also had tutorials on the late Deluge.ca and its predecessor, Endeixis.net, and am planning in the near future to combine the two.

Rough Divide
(expand) |
In my attempt to create websites that connected to the Squall theme of Renzokuken.org, I decided to open a fanlisting for the domain's namesake. Renzokuken is flippin'
awesome and just about the most fun to execute and watch of every limit break in the game, and is still my favourite limit break to this day. (I admit it's a rip-off
of Cloud's Omnislash—but, come on, it's just so much sweeter!). Unfortunately, not many agreed.
When I gave away Renzokuken.org, I decided to close the fanlisting.
Nomura
(expand) |
A self-titled fanlisting to Tetsuya Nomura. Back in the day, he was my greatest inspiration for character designs. I could loose myself in his illustrations
for hours. I also appreciate the fact that he made his own way to the top; he's come a loong way since being a mere monster pixel artist! Like Rough Divide,
there was a distinct lack of interest in the fanlisting, and I eventually closed it down. It has since been revived by another webmaster and can be found
here.

Beyond the Clouds
(expand) |
Beyond the Clouds was my personal website featuring random crap about myself. It was like my own virtual locker or scrapbook, and was my favourite website for a long time.
Beyond the Clouds later morphed into a review website, and died soon after that.
Cantaloupe
(expand) |
A very swift foray into pixel adoptions. I really love cantaloupe, and felt it was a lonely fruit and needed a few friends. Sadly for the cantaloupe, I was apparently the
only one in the universe willing to give it a little lurve. But who knows, you may see the return of the cantaloupe...

Darkworld III
(expand) |
My old pal Sean and I collaborated for a time on an RPGMaker-developed game called Darkworld III. I'm not really sure what happened, but the project just died. Or maybe I did.
Ack! The game's still alive and kickin', as far as I know...when I find the new website, I'll post it here.

The Lothsque Chronicles
(expand) |
The Lothsque Chronicles was a narrative project I started at the very beginning of my journey into the 'net, based around my roleplaying Gargoyles character, Night Shade.
The story expanded from a Gargoyles fanfiction to a semi-original story combining Gargoyles-like creatures and elves, to dragon-human hybrids and elves. I must have rewritten
this story at least five times. In the last version, I created a new character, Aeryvae, whose name I've stolen and use as my online nickname. I'm hoping to begin writing the
final version of this story within the next year, with not only an all new storyline, storyworld, and redeveloped characters, but also a new format to fit with the times: it
will be presented as an online interactive novel, with branching paths between times and characters. Subsequently it'll be a lot of work. I hope I'll actually finish it this time! XD

Fukyuu Yuugiri
(expand) |
I'd been kicking around a story idea for a while, and decided it might do well as an online comic. I misjudged the work I put into each page, and eventually I couldn't
keep up with my own standards. The project is on the backburner for now, though I won't say there's no possibility of it being revived in the future.

Japan Forum & Diary
(expand) |
In preperation for and after coming back from Japan in 2003, I created two websites: one for the travelers in our group to get to know each other better before
the trip, and a second that acted as a visual diary of the trip. Both websites were made private for obvious reasons. Since it's been four years, and I bet I'm
the only one looking at them anymore, I've taken them offline.

GibiWORLD
(expand) |
In my high school animation class, I had a very inspiring project for which I was asked to create a new genre of characters based on two pre-existing styles. I combined
Popeye and Stickman to create the Gibis. GibiWORLD was a pretend virtual world for the Gibis, and I treated it like an informational website. It's become very nostalgic
for me. Due to the aged content and lack of interest, GibiWORLD will remain offline.
This was supposed to be an intuitive visual representation of the linear path of my websites through the years, but it ended up looking a bit too
close to a confusing mess. Perhaps I'm wrong. In any case, a year-by-year breakdown featuring all of my (known) websites of present day and yonder years is shown
here.
