Nakatsu backs away from kissing Mizuki, but is later plagued by thoughts of her, despite his growing relationship with his girlfriend.
Mizuki meets up with Kinu-chan again, who teases her about how her "love" brough Sano out of his rut. Thinking she's been discovered,
Mizuki runs off...only to bump into Sano. After some awkwardness, she seeks out Umeda (and again finds he and Kujou in an insinuous
position in the medical office...). Revealing her lose of confidence because of Kinuko, she confides she wants to take up karate.
Karate is a lot more difficult than Mizuki imagined...after a rough time, Mizuki escapes to an empty locker room, not knowing
Kinu-chan's followed her. She begins to undress but Sano stops her, seeing Kinu's camera strap poking out of the locker. As Sano and
Mizuki walk away together, she reveals her lack of confidence and her feelings she's lost to Kinuko. Although Sano calls her stupid for
it, he reminds her she's got him. Mizuki feels he's admitted something rare...
Mizuki meets up with Umeda, and while they talk Kinuko finds her - but soon runs off at the sight of Umeda! Umeda tells Mizuki
Kinuko and he don't get along: in fact, she's petrified of him. He warns her that she's good at guessing what's up, and for her to
be careful not to give her an opportunity to find out her true gender. Later, Umeda offers Mizuki a "charm" against Kinuko - his
nude pictures! - which she of course doesn't accept.
Nakatsu's still thinking about Mizuki constantly. When he next sees her, he can't help himself: as she's walking away, he hugs her
from behind. Shocked at what he's done, he runs off, finally admitting to himself he's in love with her. He tells his girlfriend the
truth, and she accepts it calmly. Meanwhile, Sano warns Kinuko to stay away.
The next day, in front of everyone, Nakatsu tells Mizuki he's in love with her!
The next chapter tells Nanba's story of his first love, Kanako. Tanabe Kanako is hired by Umeda to be Nanba's tutor. Eventually
the two fall in love, but because of Nanba's harsh ways of loving, caused by his anger at their age difference, Kanako leaves him.
Back in realtime, everything goes on as normal...excepting Nakatsu constantly expressing his love for Mizuki. Nanba tells the dorm
that on their break they'll be going to Hokkaido, which is also Sano's hometown. Mizuki feels homesick, looking at pictures of herself
and her best friend Julia. Sano comes home, and Mizuki wants to watch a scary movie, but not by herself, so she ends up in Sano's bed
in front of the television. She falls asleep, and Sano cuddles in next to her, not making a move (cute!).
The next day, Julia arrives at school! Mizuki is quite shocked, and Nanba is pleasantly surprised, hitting on her immediately and just
as quickly being tossed aside by Julia, who's able to tell he's a playboy. It turns out Julia's enrolled in a Japanese school, thanks
to none other than Umeda Rio, and Mizuki'll be seeing her often. Nakatsu worries about Mizuki's close relationship with Julia...while
Julia becomes suspicious of Sano, wondering if he actually knows Mizuki's a girl. To find out, Julia claims she and Mizuki are a couple!
