Summer vacation is coming up. The school crew, much to his annoyance, have noticed that Sano's cheered up quite a bit. Nakatsu
wars with inviting Mizuki to his place, eventually asking her. Mizuki, knowing her identity could be revealed, declines, although
she really wishes she could go...Sano asks her to come to his place, but she must also decline his offer, despite not having a place
to go to.
That night, Mizuki sleep walks into Sano's bed, causing him a lot of grief! (Note his HUGE blush in the rightside picture). The next
morning Mizuki, of course, freaks out, although there's no lasting damage. Later on that day, Mizuki meets Umeda's family, including his
quite young sister and aunt to Nanba, Umeda Rio, and Nanba's beautiful and charismatic sister, Io. Io offers to give Mizuki a part time
job at her bed and breakfast hotel for the break. After finding out where she's going, both Sano and Nakatsu decide to come along as well.
The break starts out well, although Sano notices how familiar Nakatsu's acting towards Mizuki...But he soon has someone else to worry about, as another part time worker named Makita sets his eye on Mizuki, thinking she's a girl (which of course she is, but he shouldn't know that). Naive Mizuki doesn't notice his attentions, even when Sano brings it up, although Nakatsu has noticed and is not liking it in the least!
To make matters worse, Kagurazaka and his famiy show up to stay at the hotel. Kagurazaka's second youngest sister, Tamami, freaks at
living in the same house as her idol, Sano, and proceeds to take every option possible to catch his attention. His youngest sister,
toddler Kyoumi, takes an immediate [dis]liking to Nakatsu.
Suddenly, Mizuki faints...and before Makita or anyone can touch her, Sano has her out of the room and into the bed, pretending he doesn't feel her womanly body. When Mizuki comes to, Sano's at her side. As he leaves to go, she calls out to him, and he stops, promising to stay by her side until she falls asleep. When she awakes again, she finds herself alone and decides to take a bath, but as she's in the bath Nakatsu comes in! Thankfully he faints at seeing her naked backside, and her secret is kept for another day...at the cost of everyone seeing his lower body (ack!).
Afterwards, Makita continues to flirt with Mizuki, while Tamami continues to flirt with Sano...Sano confronts Mizuki about Makita's attentions, and all Mizuki can think of is Tamami hugging Sano - and calls him on it! Realising what she's saying, she runs out.
The next day at the beach, Tamami confides in Mizuki about her wanting to attract Sano, asking for her advice on what type of clothing he likes on a girl. Mizuki can't help but give her confidence. Then two random guys come along, thinking Mizuki is a girl (which of course she is) and Makita saves her, much to Sano's annoyance. Later, Makita has a conversation with Sano, letting him know his intentions towards her. Confused at his own feelings, Sano can only say Mizuki will do what she will, but Makita calls him on his true feelings.
The next day, Sano is being especially protective of Mizuki, warning her to cover up when she's sprayed with water while wearing a
light, thin shirt. But when Mizuki goes to change, Io opens the room's door, seeing Mizuki's female body! Like with Umeda, Mizuki tells
Io the truth about her coming to Japan all for Sano, and Io, despite not agreeing with her methods, notes the genuineness in her words
and promises to help keep her secret.
The next day, Makita and Mizuki have gone shopping. Believing them to be in a relationship, Kagurazaka teases Sano about being
worried about Mizuki's safety. The worry takes root...Meanwhile, Mizuki and Makita are driving down the road, when he pulls over
suddenly. Before Mizuki can do much, he makes a move on her, almost removing her top. Just as things are looking hopeless, Sano
arrives and beats the crap out of Makita. Distraught at what was about to happen to her, Mizuki falls unconscious, forcing Sano to
carry her back to the hotel.
But on the way, Sano trips on a cliff edge and the two fall into a ravine. Back at the hotel, Makita has arrived without Mizuki and Sano, and Io guesses by his personal appearance what occured and fires him on the spot. Meanwhile, Mizuki is expressing her regret at not believing Sano about Makita. Exhausted and with a twisted ankle, Mizuki forces Sano to stay with her and wait for help. Eventually she faints again, and Sano, finally coming to terms with his feelings for her, almost kisses her while she sleeps...but holds back at the last second, promising to stay by her side forever.
Eventually Nakatsu's search party shows up and rescues the two. The next day, Mizuki wonders about a dream she had, where Sano
stayed by her side, almost kissed her, and told her he'd be by her side forever...And when she thanks Sano for the previous day, as
he walks away to finish his final chores, Sano blushes...
