The council decides it's best to just let the rumour rot to its own death. Mizuki and Sano continue life as normal...or, at least, try to.
Apparently people have been...searching...Nakao to see if he's the girl. The end of the year is coming fast, and everyone's preparing
for it. The group decides they need some more pictures of dorm life and head off to take their own. Lots of interesting situations
ensue...Later, Mizuki and Sano talk about graduation, and Sano tells her after reconciling with his father, he feels he should move
back.
Before Mizuki can question his going to a Japanese university, Nakatsu barrels in. Sano leaves, and Mizuki helps Nakatsu put
away some books...but, distracted by thoughts of Sano staying in Japan, Mizuki accidentally falls over and knocks herself out.
Nakatsu and some students run over to her, and to help her breathe, he undoes her tie and the top of her shirt...exposing her
breast-restricting top underneath.Sano returns then, rescuing her temporarily from the situation. Umeda, too, shows up, trying to
dispel the situation as best as he can. But the damage has been done. Mizuki decides it's best to tell Nakatsu the truth. Nakatsu
takes it extremely well, echoing Sano's words of Mizuki being who she is and that's all that matters.
The rumours spread through the school, and it seems everyone knows or assumes the truth. The situation progressively worsens until
Nakao, annoyed at Mizuki's mistreatment, calls on the students to stop acting so offensively, even calling on Mizuki for being silent
throughout it. Mizuki apologises for keeping her identity a secret. Later, on her own outside the school, a few students harass her
about her gender...and Noe and Sekime rush in to defend her. They apologise for the way they treated her.
But other students can't get over the fact that Mizuki's female. Troubled, Mizuki tries to decide what to do about it. Not wanting
to be by herself, she asks to sleep in Sano's bed. Sano gets the wrong idea, and Mizuki brushes him off when he makes a move. Ever
the gentleman, Sano holds himself back, much to Mizuki's internal relief. The next day, Mizuki resigns from Osaka Gakuen. After saying
good bye to Yuujirou, she heads out to leave...and comes face to face with all of her school friends. They've prepared a graduation
ceremony for her, and send her off for her return to America.
Tears are shared around, especially by Nakatsu, who breaks down when Mizuki thanks him for their friendship the female way. Sano is
the last one she sees, and he whispers something in her ear...Akiha asks Umeda if he's sure not saying anything to Mizuki was alright,
but Umeda's sure.
One year later, Mizuki recieves postcards from Julia and Nakatsu. Nakatsu informs her Sano's about to keep the promise he made
her a year ago, whatever that was...and then Sano appears! The two embrace as he reminds her he promised to visit her this time...
