That day brings Kagurazaka's match, and Mizuki prepares lunch for the Sano brothers. Kagurazaka makes the jump; Shin misses; Sano makes it.
But in the final match, Kagurazaka doesn't make the jump...and Sano emerges as victor. Kagurazaka tells Shin to beat his brother so he
can compete with him. That night over a celebatory dinner, Sano very formally apologises to Mizuki for being a jerk. The next day,
Shin gives Mizuki a big hug before he leaves, insinuating that, once he's stronger, he'll tell Mizuki he has feelings for "him".
Mizuki recieves her university survey form. Nakatsu wants to celebrate Sano's victory, but for some reason Sekime won't come...Mizuki
meets up with Umeda and Akiha, and finds out Alex has found his childhood friend, and the supermodel Takekawa is doing great. Elsewhere,
Sekime's confused as to what to do with his life, and Sano gives him some advice: choose what you like best. That night, everyone minus
Sekime parties it up at Sano and Mizuki's dorm. When they have to clean up the next morning, Sano points out how things have changed between
Mizuki and Nakatsu, and Mizuki wonders if Sano likes her...
Sano and Mizuki go for a walk with Yuujirou and accidentally come across Sekime and his girlfriend; both are arguing about Sekime
not going for the marathon, which he likes best. When the girlfriend leaves, Yuujirou exposes Sano and Mizuki...Mizuki tells Sekime
not to give up. Sekime sorts things out and decides to go for the marathon; he and his girlfriend patch up and all is well.
At dinner with Nakatsu, Sano is feeling jealous after finding out Mizuki and he had some alone time together. On the other side of
the table, Nakatsu's watching with still-existing jealousy as Mizuki and Sano act very couple-like. Later, Mizuki talks with Umeda,
telling him about how she wishes she could reveal she's a girl to Sano. Umeda asks her whether she came to the school to study or
to see Sano; Mizuki realises she's done it all for Sano. Later, Mizuki's out with Yuujirou when a woman asks her for directions...and
she turns out to be Nakatsu's mom!
Turns out Nakatsu's mom has lost her purse and needs a place to stay. After pleading with Nanba, she ends up staying at the school,
causing Nakatsu a lot of strife. Kayashima gets kicked out and ends up in Sano and Mizuki's dorm; after a futile argument, Sano and
Mizuki end up sharing a bed. Neither get any sleep that night...Umeda has a good laugh about it the next morning. Before Nakatsu's
mom heads off, she reminds Nakatsu about his promise to return to Osaka...
