First dorm students move into the second dorm due to the water pipes having to be replaced. No one's happy with the situation...especially
Mizuki, knowing that she has to be even more careful about revealing her identity. Thankfully, the person who moves into their dorm is
Kadoma. But at lunch things are getting rowdy...Nanba and Kujou have to settle things. Umeda warns Mizuki to be careful, because despite
Kadoma's innocence he's still a guy.
Later, Sano tells Mizuki that Shin eventually ended up going home, and even started high jumping again. Then Yuujirou orders a walk, leaving Mizuki and Kadoma together. Kadoma insists Mizuki bathe first, and while she's in the bath he comes in suggesting he scrub her back for her! Thankfully Sano shows up just in time to stop him from drawing back the tub curtain. Nakatsu bursts into their dorm a while later, telling a horror story of how Kujou insisted on scrubbing his back, and put all his force into it too...poor Nakatsu!
Mizuki talks with Umeda, and he warns her again that everyone around her is male, and she must be very careful! Mizuki gets a little
paranoid, especially when Sano gets close. Things heat up when Kadoma innocently calls Mizuki a very cute girl. Both Mizuki and Sano
freak out, but thankfully Kujou comes along and Kadoma goes off with him for a while. Sano decides its time to be a little more blunt
with Mizuki than usual, warning her that she's being too careless. Mizuki, getting the wrong idea, fights back until Sano surprises her
with mentioning that she had her first kiss with Gil. Mizuki explains that in America kisses are given freely, and in response Sano
asks to kiss her! Mizuki backs away and Nakatsu bursts in, and the moment is purged.
Later, Sano moans to himself about what jerk he was to put Mizuki in such a situation, all because of his jealousy. Things are really awkward between them, so awkward even Nakatsu is noticing. Mizuki is worried Sano thinks she's easy, and finally decides to confront him, but Kadoma shows up, preventing anything from being said. Sano, not wanting to wait, drags Mizuki onto the roof and they apologise to each other, Mizuki explaining that she and Gil's relationship didn't extend beyond the realm of friendship.
The rest of the tankouban deals with Umeda's past love. Umeda isn't a very social person, mostly people bribe him for note sheets. One day,
Rio goes over to a friend's to play, and Umeda goes with her and meets Kijima. Umeda sees right away that Kijima is not the polite, kind
student he shows himself to be at school, that he's cut himself off from people, and is not really very nice. Umeda decides to try to
get through to him, but he's constantly faking how he truly feels and thinks. Kijima takes revenge on Umeda by making him co-chair of
the upcoming school festival. Later, on the school's roof, the two meet, and Kijima makes Umeda promise to keep his secret.
Umeda finds out about Masato, a sickly boy left by Kijima's father's friend in their care, whom Kijima cares a lot for. Umeda gets jealous, much to Kijima's amusement. While the other students are watching porn, Umeda and Kijima hide out in the dorm smoking. One of the teachers comes by, forcing Kijima to grab Umeda and hide, but leaving them in a compromising position. Umeda's heart is beating, and he realises he's got a crush on Kijima.
Everyone's noticed how close they've gotten. Umeda comes across a sleeping Kijima, and can't help but give him a little kiss...which, behind his back, Kijima calls him a wimp for only doing that. Later, Kijima continues to tease Umeda in person, complimenting his fair colours and getting a little too close for comfort. Then someone tells Kijima Masato's in the hospital. Kijima rushes off, leaving Umeda...Over the next while, he skips school and takes care of Masato.
Umeda gets fed up and confronts him about his relying on Masato. He breaks down, telling Umeda Masato's the only one he has...Umeda
kisses him to his senses. But after that, nothing developed between them except a strong friendship. Umeda's still surprised he remembers
that special day...
