Mizuki meets a high school boy randomly while raking leaves in the yard, but he disappears just as Sano shows. He tells her that after talking to a store owner in the town nearby he found out the villa is haunted. Mizuki realises the boy might be a ghost...Later, the boy invades Nakatsu's mind, forcing him to find Mizuki. Hearing him, Kayashima and Sano run to Mizuki's room and Kayashima snaps him out of his trance. Finally Kayashima tells everyone the place is haunted by the spirit of the boy.
The next day, the group decides to help the spirit move on. Using a key Mizuki found and a diary Sano found, they discover the ghost's secret and why Mizuki was targetted: Satoru and Mizuki, two boys on different social levels, loved each other, but couldn't be together so they took their lives. The spirit leaves Nakatsu's body...and is reunited with the spirit Mizuki.
Back at school, Nanba announces the Christmas dance; everyone will have to practice the waltz in preparation. Their dance partners
will come from an elitist girl's school, and Mizuki wishes she could dance with Sano instead of one of them. That night, Mizuki asks Sano
what kind of girl he likes, but he evades answering (except he wants to be with a girl he'd like to be with forever...).
The next day, the group head over to the girl's school. Nanba hits it off with Kishinosato Juri, one of the committee heads, while sparks fly between Himejima and the equally princess-like (hehe) Kanayashimi Hibari. Kanayashimi quickly notices the cutest of the boys - Mizuki and Nakao, of course - and then proposes that some of the boys be made "girls" since there's more males than females between the schools. Nanba casually agrees.
Himejima visits the second dorm, warning Sano, Nakatsu and Mizuki of Kanayashimi's evil ways and telling them of his and her rivalhood
ever since they were young. Mizuki seeks out Umeda, and he tells her of the legend of the Oosaka dance: that those who win best couple
will be together forever. The next day the dance practice begins, and Mizuki plus the other boys-to-be-girls meet up with their dance
teachers, one of whom is Rio. Nanba is made to dance with his aunt Rio - an uncomfortable situation - but they do an inspirational job.
After a bit of practice, everyone is asked to change into P.E. uniforms, which might expose Mizuki's true gender. Thankfully Nakao speaks up about not shaving his "unwanted hair", and the rest chime in so all are saved. Back in her dorm, Mizuki decides to try on the uniform. But when Sano walks in and sees Mizuki in a miniskirt he runs to the bathroom with a nosebleed!
The next day Mizuki and the other boys go to Rio's house to practice. They're met at the door by two of the Umeda "siblings" and are escorted to the dance room. But when Rio arrives, she reveals that the man and woman are her parents! The other school's students show up and practice begins, with Mizuki wishing she could dance with Sano...
Finally the end of December arrives, and everyone's preparing for the dance. Nakatsu makes a big show of asking Mizuki to be his dance
partner, and she finds she can't refuse...Then the student council of the girl's school gives the boys a present: bras! While helping
the boys with their bras, Kanno, a very gentle member of the girl's council, confides in Mizuki that she has a one-sided love for none
other than karate man Tenouji. Suddenly she feels her dress rip, thanks to Kanayashimi's wandering foot...Nakao reports a similar gripe,
and the boys realise that Kanayashimi's out to get them for the "Queen" title.
Mizuki chats with Umeda about girl's bullying, and the topic eventually changes to the dance's eternal couples, of which Umeda's parents were once one. Mizuki dreams of her and Sano...but knows it's not to be. Mizuki tries her dress but finds her chest cover is exposes; instead, she goes with her natural chest. Sano compliments her, making her blush lots. Kanno tells her that Tenouji asked her to the dance, yay!
On the day before the dance, Mizuki gathers the courage to ask Sano to dance with her. He agrees, and they dance until they
trip, yet again finding themselves in an interesting positon on the bed...The day of the dance arrives, and Nakatsu's very excited
about Mizuki's look. Mizuki finds herself worried after catching Kanayashimi giving her an evil look.
