can I use your illustrations on my site?
In most cases, yes. See below. In every case, a proper copyright notice—© Aeryvae—and a link back to my website is required. Please also contact me and let me know where and how my artwork/s is/are being used. See also: Usage Policy.
- Sample galleries: If you'd like to use a selection of my artwork in an online gallery, you are welcome to use up to five pieces of your choosing.
- Web layouts: An illustration or a portion of an illustration can be used in web layouts.
- Forum icons: An icon for use in an online forum, including websites such as LiveJournal, may be created from a portion of any of my artworks.
If you'd like to use my artwork for another purpose not listed here, please contact me.
can I colour one of your lineart drawings/sketches?
Yes! If you do and post it to the Internet or display it somewhere offline, please be sure to credit my work with the proper copyright notice—© Aeryvae—and let me know beforehand by contacting me here It may work to your benefit to contact me first anyways: I usually have high resolution versions of the lineart and sketches I post online to offer, which would make it easier for you to colour.
can we do an "art trade" or collaboration?
Possibly, yes. I'm usually quite busy, but I may have some extra time to spend on an art trade (you draw for me, I draw for you) or a collaborative piece. Contact me!
what if I find a website using your artwork illegally?
A website that is using my artwork illegally is one that is: displaying or using my artwork without credit; selling my artwork; claiming my artwork as the webmaster's own.
If you come across such a website, notify me immediately.
will you be selling your art again in future?
Maybe. I'm not as into the art scene as I was before, and I'm no longer exclusively pursuing a career as an artist. I do accept commissions when I have the time, though. See below for more information.

Maybe—please see the commission page for commission availability, as well as information about commissioning me to create an illustration or web layout. I'll also post on the main page when I start or stop taking commissions.

Can you help me with HTML and design and stuff?
Sure. Spreading knowledge is always a good thing in my book. (Plus, as much as I hate to admit it, I've got a bit of the teacher gene in me.) Keep in mind that I'm a busy person and I may not always be at the ready to help out. I'm also not all-knowing even within my realms of expertise, nor am I endlessly creative in the problem-solving department. I am, however, generally willing to try to help.
who is "aeryvae" or "aery"?
Aeryvae, or Aery for short, is my online persona and one of my many original characters. Physically, she's an elf similar to the Tolkein variety, with amber eyes and maroon hair. In story, she's the amnesiac main character of my soon-to-be-revived novel (as well as some other discarded projects). I often use "Aeryvae" or "Aery" as a nickname on my websites, forums, and elsewhere.
what's your MSN/AIM/ICQ/etc. nick/number?
That's private; I only give out my messenger information to friends, lovers, and abominable snowmen. You can try asking, though, and if you intrigue me I might just say yes. Otherwise, if you wish to contact me, do so by email.
what sorts of video games do you play?
I freely admit that I am, by and large, an RPGamer, but I'm also fond of other types of games, as my little game review site is a testament to.

He's...a cartoon. A made-up character. So no. (Besides, even if I did have this information, do you really think a self-interested stalker like me would share it with you? Good grief!)
